Our Story
Anchor Grants is an independent practice supporting charities and mission-driven organizations in the Pacific Northwest and across the United States (and soon in the U.K.!) in securing grant funding. We specialize in helping organizations strengthen their funding strategies and compete effectively for foundation and institutional support.
Working primarily with small- to mid-sized nonprofits, Anchor Grants partners closely with leadership teams to identify funding opportunities, develop compelling proposals, and manage grant portfolios with clarity and consistency. Our work ensures organizations are well positioned to communicate their impact and maintain strong relationships with funders.

About Anchor Grants
Annie Becker, MNPL
Based in Seattle, Washington, I am the founder and principal of Anchor Grants.
I hold a BA from Western Washington University with a focus on creative and technical writing, and an MA in Nonprofit Leadership along with a Graduate Certificate in Fundraising, from Seattle University. My professional background spans the nonprofit sector, where I have supported organizations in prospect management, operations, stewardship, donor engagement, and grants management. I maintain active membership in the Grant Professionals Association and Puget Sound Grantwriters and hold a Grantwriting Certificate from Spark the Fire Grantwriting. In 2026/2027 I am also pursuing my Grant Professionals Certification.
